CELLULAR BEAM

Cellular Beams are high-performance steel structural elements manufactured by our company, designed with hexagonal or circular web openings to optimize material use and increase bending capacity. They are widely used in large-span industrial and commercial buildings, offering high load-bearing performance with reduced self-weight. The web openings allow for easy integration of mechanical and electrical installations while maintaining structural integrity. These systems are produced through precise cutting and welding processes using hot-rolled I or H beams. With their high strength-to-weight ratio, they are ideal for roof and floor applications where aesthetics and functionality are essential. We manufacture them with custom dimensions and coating options based on project requirements.

All products are manufactured using fully automated plate cutting and welding technologies, providing highly cost-effective solutions. For applications requiring corrosion resistance, steel components can be painted or galvanized—this method is particularly preferred for outdoor projects.

CASTELLATED BEAM

Castellated Beams are structural steel elements produced by creating hexagonal or circular openings in hot-rolled I or H profiles, then axially shifting and welding the two halves together. This manufacturing method increases the section height, enhancing the bending moment capacity, while the openings reduce material usage and allow for the passage of utilities. The high load-bearing capacity and low weight make it possible to span large openings. Offering both aesthetic and functional advantages, they are commonly used in modern constructions. They are typically employed in industrial, commercial, and architectural projects. Galvanized steel can also be used for corrosion resistant applications, but this is more preferred for outdoor projects.

TYPES OF CELLULAR & CASTELLATED BEAMS

  • Hexagonal Steel Lattice Trusses
These trusses feature hexagonal holes in their lattice sections, creating a honeycomb-like appearance. Hexagonal trusses are the most common type, balancing strength and material efficiency, and are widely used in both residential and commercial construction projects.

  • Circular (Cellular) Lattice Trusses
Instead of hexagonal holes, these trusses have round openings. Known as cellular trusses, they provide an aesthetically pleasing alternative. They are commonly used in projects where visual impact is important, while still offering the same load-bearing and integration benefits.

  • Custom Design Lattice Trusses
In some cases, trusses can be specially designed with different shapes or hole patterns depending on the specific project needs. This provides a high degree of flexibility in design and load-bearing capacity.
