PRODUCTION AND FACADE DESIGN

During the production process of POLMEK, curtain wall systems, the manufacturing drawings prepared by our project team are taken into production and all stages such as precision cutting and drilling are processed in our state-of-the-art CNC machines and the production processes of carrier constructions and connection equipment are completed. From the production process to the packaging process, all products are inspected by quality control and made ready for shipment. Aluminum profiles, steels, glass, heat barriers and many other products have international certificates.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

  1. Design and Planning: At this stage, the aesthetic, functional and structural requirements of the facade are determined. In particular, factors such as building height, wind load, climatic conditions and energy efficiency are taken into consideration.

  2. Material Selection: Curtain wall materials such as glass, aluminum, stone, metal, etc. are selected according to the needs and budget of the project.

  3. Detail Drawings: How each component will be manufactured and assembled is determined in detail.

  4. Manufacturing

    • Profile Manufacturing: Aluminum profiles are cut and processed according to specified dimensions and shapes.

    • Glass Manufacturing: Glass panels are cut, processed and, if necessary, coated with special coatings according to the selected glass type and specifications

    • Panel Manufacturing: If used in the project, composite, stone, metal etc. panels are produced according to the specified dimensions.

  5. Assembly Preparation: The manufactured parts are shipped to the assembly area together with the apparatus, screws and other fasteners required for assembly.

  6. On-site Assembly:

    • Carrier Frame Assembly : First, aluminum carrier profiles are mounted on the outer surface of the building. This is the main structural support system of the curtain wall.

    • Glass and Panel Installation: Glass panels and/or other cladding materials are then mounted on these carrier profiles.

    • Sealing and Insulation: Air and water tightness is ensured on the facade with silicone, gaskets and other sealing materials.

  7. Finish and Control: After the assembly is completed, quality controls of all products and connections in accordance with the project are completed.
